Terms of Service
Clear information about using our website, exploring our designs and taking the next step with your project.
Last updated: October 18, 202601. About these terms
These Terms of Service explain the conditions for using vanguardcabinets.com, including our catalog, portfolio, inquiry forms and other website features. The website is operated by Vanguard Cabinets Inc., based in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. In these terms, “Vanguard,” “we,” “us” and “our” refer to Vanguard Cabinets Inc.
Please review these terms when using the website. They do not replace a written estimate, approved design or project agreement. Where a project agreement and these website terms address the same project-specific matter differently, the project agreement takes priority, subject to applicable law.
Nothing on this page limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer protection rights.
02. Using our website
You may browse, save and share links to our website for personal reference and to discuss a potential project with us. Please use the website lawfully and respectfully.
- Do not interfere with website security, attempt unauthorized access or introduce malicious code.
- Do not submit fraudulent inquiries, impersonate another person or use our forms to send spam or unlawful material.
- Do not copy, republish or commercially exploit our content without permission, except where the law permits it.
We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, security risks or legal obligations.
03. Catalog, images & design information
Our catalog, visualizations, animations and edited project images help communicate design possibilities. Some images are illustrative and may show proposed finishes, styling or configurations rather than an exact record of a completed installation.
Colours, textures, proportions, lighting and hardware can appear differently on screen. Images are not construction drawings, measurements or confirmation that a particular product is available. Final selections, dimensions and specifications must be confirmed through your approved project documents and, where appropriate, physical samples.
General information on the website is not a substitute for a site assessment or project-specific architectural, engineering, electrical or installation advice. Please contact us before relying on a detail for construction or purchasing decisions.
04. Inquiries, estimates & availability
Sending an inquiry or receiving an automated acknowledgment does not, by itself, confirm a booking, reserve materials or create an order. We will confirm the next steps with you.
Website prices, starting prices and preliminary ranges are informational unless expressly identified as a binding offer. A written estimate will identify its scope, assumptions, currency, applicable taxes, exclusions and any validity period. Final pricing may depend on measurements, materials, finishes, hardware, access and installation requirements.
Our services are based in Burnaby and offered across Metro Vancouver, subject to project suitability and availability. We confirm service coverage, product availability and scheduling for each inquiry.
If we discover an error in information supplied to you, we will explain it and discuss any necessary correction. These website terms do not give us the right to change an accepted contract unilaterally.
05. Project agreements & approvals
Before a project proceeds, the applicable written documents should confirm the work, approved specifications, price, payment schedule and anticipated timing. Please review them carefully and raise any discrepancies before approving.
Changes to an approved design or scope may affect cost and timing. Any agreed change should be documented. Manufacturing and installation times shown on the website are examples or estimates, not a guaranteed completion date for every project.
Project arrangements may include confirming ownership or permission to authorize the work, strata or landlord requirements, safe access and any necessary permits. Responsibilities must be established for the actual project; submitting a website inquiry is not authorization to begin work.
06. Payments, cancellations & warranties
Deposits, payment dates, cancellation procedures, refunds and warranty coverage are set out in the applicable written project or purchase documents. Review those terms before accepting or paying. These website terms do not create a blanket “no refunds” policy or make every deposit non-refundable.
Any financing, payment processor or third-party product may also have its own applicable terms, which should be disclosed at the relevant stage. Nothing here removes statutory cancellation rights, warranties or other protections that apply to your transaction.
For questions about a payment, cancellation or a completed installation, contact us with your project or invoice reference.
07. Information and images you send us
Please provide accurate contact and project information, and send only content that you are entitled to share. Avoid including unnecessary sensitive information, payment-card details, passwords or other people’s private information in website messages or uploads.
You retain your rights in the photos, drawings and other materials you submit. You allow us to use them as reasonably needed to respond to your inquiry and assess or carry out the work you request, consistent with applicable privacy requirements.
Sending us project photographs does not give us permission to publish them for marketing. We seek permission before showcasing a customer’s project and respect a decision to keep it private.
08. Privacy & communications
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. These website terms do not provide blanket consent to optional tracking, unrelated marketing or the sharing of personal information for unrelated purposes.
When you contact us about a project, we may respond through the contact details you provide to address that request. Any consent required for promotional communications is handled separately, and you may withdraw it as permitted by law.
For privacy questions or to request information about our practices, email contact@vanguardcabinets.com.
09. Our content & third-party services
Website text, branding, designs, drawings, photographs and other content belong to Vanguard or their respective rights holders. Viewing the website does not transfer ownership of those materials. Ownership and permitted use of commissioned project drawings or designs are addressed in the relevant project agreement.
Our website may link to or use third-party services, including payment, chat or other websites. Those providers may have their own terms and privacy practices. Please review them when using those services. A shared brand family or a link to another business does not automatically make Vanguard Cabinets Inc. the contracting party for that business’s products or services.
10. Website reliability & responsibility
We aim to keep the website accurate and available, but occasional errors, interruptions or outdated information may occur. Please confirm important project details directly with us. We may update or temporarily suspend website features for maintenance, security or improvements.
To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free website access. This statement concerns website operation only: it does not disclaim our obligations under an accepted project agreement or responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any liability limitation for supplied goods or services must be addressed in the applicable agreement and comply with the law.
11. Updates, applicable law & concerns
We may update these website terms as our website or practices change. The date shown at the top identifies the latest revision. Updates do not retroactively change an existing project agreement. Where notice or consent is legally required, we will provide or obtain it.
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and applicable federal laws of Canada, subject to any mandatory protections that apply to you. Nothing here requires you to give up a legally available court, tribunal, complaint process or statutory remedy.
If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. Please contact us first if you have a concern so we can try to resolve it.
